Workplace Health for Kindergarden Employees

Due to the high engagement of the professionals working in childcare, many health factors tend to be overlooked.

Therefore we try to provide a holistic overview regarding health and safety aspects, so the health of the employees is fostered and quality standards are maintained.

We offer the following services:

• Co-ordinated services (safety and occupational health) risk assessment
• Occupational Medical Examination, e.g. on vaccinations against Hepatitis A/B
• Occupational Health Advice on vaccinations e.g. measles – MMR shot
• Advice on preventive measures when pregnant e.g. testing for Cytomegalovirus (CMV)

In Germany the "Mutterschaftsgesetz MuSchG" is the legal basis for the occupational risk assessment and the protective measurements. During the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic it is best practice that pregnant employees should be offered the opportunity of home working. As a result contact with infectious people, including (SARS-CoV-2 infections) can be avoided. The exposure assessment of potential hazards for pregnancy needs to be performed for all work places by the employer. Hazardous substances, biological agents and thermal or electrical hazards, workplace environment etc. must be considered.
